DM4-3001tx Beats Edition

Hi, my name stephen coandadiputra, i have dm4-3001tx beats edition, my laptop not getting shut down using the normal method, when i click shutdown, the screen goes black, but the power light is on. I have to hard shutdown with 5-6 second click shutdown button.

When i go to HP Support Center (Website). I see HP Software and Driver shown Windows 7 - Windows 8 for my laptop. But my laptop have operating system Windows 10 Education. Do i still download win 7/8 version for bios update ? Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi:

 

Actually, I think the problem is due to an outdated Intel Management Engine Interface driver.

 

Unfortunately, HP does not support your model for W10, so there are no W10 drivers for it.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W8.1 Intel Management Engine interface driver from a HP business notebook with the same chipset and processor as yours resolves the problem.

 

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

I think you should try the method in the picture first.

 

Hopefully, that driver supports the older Intel chipset your notebook has as well.

Hi Paul. I want notify you, my problem is resolved. I try solution from you and picture. But it didn't work as well. Because my laptop spesification not support newest version Intel. I am continually reading the HP forum, and find solve method. I have FLASH BIOS and my problem is resolved. Thank you for your help paul : ) Have a nice day 🙂
