Product: Example: Pavilion DV6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi, My old Pavilion DV6 takes almost 2 mins to start from shutdown mode. I have upgraded the hard drive to SSD. Sounds like I cannot upgrade the memory from 8 to 16GB (Or can I?) And I have removed most of the unused programs. So I am blaming the CPU now. The fan never stops even when I only use word or simple program, even when it idles. The CPU is i7-2670QM. Can I replace it with a faster CPU, such as 8th or 10th generation i7? Thanks!! -Joe
