HP Recommended

Hello,

I am using an HP Dev One laptop and I need help with a BIOS update.

Device details:
• Product: HP Dev One
• Serial Number: >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<
• Current BIOS version: Insyde F.04 (03/04/2022)

According to the official community documentation on GitHub (HPDevOne project), the known “90B System Fan Error” is fixed in BIOS version F.05 or later.

However, on the HP Support website there are no BIOS or firmware files available for HP Dev One – the support page shows “No drivers or software available for this product”.

My questions:

- Where can I download the official BIOS update (F.05 or newer) for HP Dev One?

- If it is not publicly available, can HP provide the SoftPaq or firmware file directly?

- Is the BIOS of HP EliteBook 845 G8 (same chassis/hardware) compatible with HP Dev One, or could it damage the system?

- Is there an alternative way (USB / HP BIOS Recovery / Linux flash) to update the firmware?

I really need this update to ensure system stability and fix the fan error.
Any help or official answer from HP would be greatly appreciated.
