HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0004nw
Microsoft Windows 11

Dear Community! After connecting my HP Dock G5 via USB C  with my HP Pavilion - 15-ec0004nw I cannot use the monitor being connected to the G5 (not detected). The battery is not loading as well. But my Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard plugged into G5 works fine...

Just to mention the same G5 setup works in full when connected with my other HP Elitebook... eg battery is being charged, and the monitor is detected and working.

Any ideas? Any chances these two could work together in full? All feedback appreciated!

The specs of your machine is

               https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c06459510

It is not compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock because it ONLY has 1  USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) and 1 more: it uses

135 W Smart AC power adapter

Regards.

Hello @ZiG777

Did you update BIOS and required drivers for (115-ec0004nw and (2) HP Dock G5 ?

Thanks for prompt reply. I did the general search for updates and it didn't show any upgrade needs... Where do I find 1) and 2) from your answer.
