Hi,

 

I have a ZBook Firefly 14 G7 that connects to a HP USB-C Universal Dock (Model: HSA-B005DS). I have an external monitor connected to the dock, USB devices, my audio out etc. I use both the laptop's screen and the external monitor when working.

 

Once or twice a day the dock appears to switch off as the external monitor stops displaying and external speakers revert back to the laptop. When this happens, all my open apps obviously revert to the laptop screen. When the dock switches back on a few seconds later, all my apps that were reverted to laptop screen are now appearing on the external monitor.

 

Due to the fact that I share apps across both screens, it's a bit of a nuisance as I have to reorganise them. I've checked all the cabling which is secure including power. I've updated the dock's firmware. I'm not sure what else might solve this issue.
