Hello,

 

I have the HP USB-C 5G docking station, but I believe it is not providing enough power for all my devices. I was wondering if it is ok to plug my  AC/DC adaptor in to my computer to supply the necessary power, while my docking station is still plugged in (to connect monitors and other devices). Will my Elitebook 855 G8 Notebook draw power from the AC/DC adaptor rather than the USB-C port? Is there any danger to my computer if I have both connected?
