HP ELITEBOOK 8570W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a second hand HP ELITEBOOK 8570W and as I was looking for the drivers and softwares I came to notice there are only a few drivers and softwares avaliable for the laptop. Some major and important drivers are missing like Bluetooth, Fingerprint Scanner, HPSA Mobile Broadband.

Do you intend to discontinue the product from support or, for which I am hoping, there will be newer updated availed in the near future. It is by far the finest laptop I have ever owned....thought I should just say.

Thanks.

Hi:

Things to try for the fingerprint sensor...use the W8.1 driver from the8570w  support page.

Then use the HP Client security manager software from the link below to work the device.

You can try the same (w8.1 driver) for the mobile broadband module.

What model wireless network adapter does your PC have?

Do you see a bluetooth radios icon in the device manager?

Many folks fail to ensure the bluetooth adapter is turned on prior to upgrading from W7 to W10, and if that is the case, the BT fails to show up in the list of hardware.

The only solution to the bluetooth radio not showing up is to install W7, install the HP connection manager software, turn on the bluetooth radio, uninstall the connection manager software, restart the PC, ensure the BT is still turned on, and then go back to W10.

If you do not see a full list of drivers, then those devices are not supported by HP for W10.
