Product: HP ENVY Laptop PC 14-eb0000 (363Q8AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My battery has recently begun draining really fast. It drains >75% in under four hours (high brightness, light workload, chrome browsing+word processing). I feel like it should be longer/used to last me longer. I've only had the device about a year. Could it possibly be fixed/improved with software?

Not really. You can modify power settings, but the biggest battery stretcher is to reduce screen brightness. 4 hours runtime is well within normal range.
