I inherited an HP ENVY 17-j160nr Leap Motion with Windows 10. I haven't used it much, and often time the hard disk active time is 95-100%. I want to upgrade the HDD to a SSD. There is a bay, HDD2 to add a drive (see pic).

Can you point me to which SSD I can use and which caddy/connector I would need to achieve this? My plan is to connect the SDD, clone the OS to the SSD, then switch the SSD to HDD bay 1 and keep the old as additional storage.

Can I use this SSD:

And this connector:

You can use 2.5" SATA SSD for example

1TB or 2TB s fine.

Thanks, is the connector I listed sufficient?

Yes, probably you need some screws too.
