Product: HP ENVY 17t K000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to increase the RAM, but find no memory specifications online.  Currently haver 12 GB (8+4) and assume I can go 8+8, but saw a forum entry suggesting the possibility of 16+16.  How do I find my real capacity?  Windows 10 Home

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

 

c04409752 (hp.com)

 

The max memory would be 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

 

2 x 16 GB of DDR3L memory is not going to work in your notebook if it has one of the Intel 4th gen or even 5th gen processors.

 

You don't find notebooks with two memory slots supporting 32 GB of memory until you get to the notebooks with the 6th and 7th gen Intel HQ processors.
