HP ENVY LAPTOP 17M-CG0013DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just recently purchased  the HP Envy 17M-CG0013DX.  It currently has 12Gb of RAM and I would like to upgrade to the max possible.  Some articles I have read say 16GB and I've seen answers of 32GB.  Which is it?  Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/envy-17m-cg0013dx

The crucial report indicates that 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.

So does chapter 1, page 1 of your notebook's service manual.

I have same Laptop and I have seen possibly up to 64gb but with 32 Optane and 32Ram. I think its fine for my use but curious.

Seen best deal 115.00 right from Crucial New 2X16 GB. Cant seem to find 2X16 in OEM which was Micron 8ATF-1G64HZ-3G2J1 but I would say Crucial should be just as good. Let us know how you made out. Thanks

Did you have to strip off both seals at the bottom of the laptop to access the motherboard? If so, did you buy replacement seals? My battery consistently lasts less than 4 hours, as against the 11 advertised. What are my options?
