Hi,
My HP Envy 13 which only a few years ago cost me around £1000 hinge has broken, it is now difficult to open and close and I'm worried the screen will break at some point. It is out of warranty and I have spoken to HP UK about fixing this and they said they will not do it for free and initially quoted £316! Then brought it down to a final offer of £260. This seems crazy given that it is a hardware fault and in no way have I done anything to cause this. Has anyone had any success with getting this fixed for free or at parts cost?
Thanks in adance
