HP ENVY Laptop 13 broken hinge

I opened my laptop and the hinge completely fell apart.  After looking at the forums, I see there must be some type of manufacturing defect.   Hoping that HP will help otherwise I have an appointment with Geek Squad in a few days.  I paid close to $900 3 years ago for this.....  I don't even take this laptop anywhere.  Seems like it shouldn't fall apart from just opening the cover !

I understand that this is Hardware issue. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
