Microsoft Windows 11

Dear Community, a couple of days ago my laptop went from working perfectly fine to not showing charger light and not booting up.

if i unplug my battery and keep my power cord plugged in everything works perfectly fine.

if i have the laptop booted up and then plug my battery in it works perfectly fine, done battery test that show its healthy, shows battery percentage, done bios hardware test on it and looks fine.

i can turn the laptop on and off no problem but as soon as i disconnect the charger the laptop will turn off and will go back to no charger light and no booting until i disconnect the battery again and start the whole process again.

is this a faulty battery? to me its just weird how it went from great battery life and functioning fine and showing good results on the battery tests to not booting at alll.

i have set the bios to default and i have removed the acpi driver followed by all power off and holding the power button for over a minute. neither off these techniques worked. ive also held the power button until the charge light goes off and then try and boot after a minute and still nothing.

anyone have any more suggestions before i buy a new battery?

Kind regards,

Roald
