HP ENVY Laptop Hinge Creaks

Got laptop few days ago. When ever you adjust the tilt of the screen it makes a creaking sound. As seen in the product image the hinge is of a different style to normal computers so I didn't know if this is a problem that i should see to get fixed or is something on all laptops of this version.

My Opinion:

"Creaking" is not normal.  Brand new computers do not "creak", moan, crackle, or snap.  

What to do?

There is absolutely no Community sponsored "fix" for creaking hinges.

We can offer FIY options that are not "official" - for example, spray the squeaky hinge with a tiny bit of lubricant.

What if the issue is actually indication of a Problem?

Contact HP Technical Support and ask for help.

Note:  You may want (or have) to wait for the next normal business day - Christmas is upon us - staffing levels may be lower than normal.

Ok, thankyou for that info. but another problem has occured. The hinge is now noticeably loose and can wobble
