HP ENVY Notebook - 17-r107na (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

I'm reaching out because i'm trying to update the BIOS on my HP notebook. Currently, my BIOS version is F.31, dated 2015-12-17. I'm concerned that i might not have the latest or final version installed.

I've tied looking for the current BIOS update on HP's Website, but it seems my notebook model is no longer supported, and i can't find the appropriate driver.

Could anyone guide me on how to safely check if there's a newer BIOS version for my notebook or provide advice on how to update it when official support appears to have ended ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thank you in advance !

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately if the BIOS update didn't work as it was supposed to, I wouldn't be able to help you with that problem.
