Product: HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch0000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch0000 IDS Base with 1.70 gigahertz Intel 11th Gen Core i7-1165G7. I want to upgrade the SSD with a Samsung 990 Pro. I see some issues with other similar models booting because they do not have the proper Intel storage drivers. What drivers do I need to download? I know I will not get the max speeds off the faste drive due to the GEN 3 versus 4, but it is more about the storage. Currently have 1 TB SSD. Can someone point me to drivers to get this loaded?

Intel Core 11th gen processors require the Windows installer to have Intel RST VMD storage controller driver. See this thread below for how to install Windows on Intel Core 11th gen platforms.
