Hi friends ... i just want all you to aware about HP ENVY laptops... i buy two laptops of HP Envy 13 I5 and I7. In less than six months we started getting problem with hinges. this is not the case with me, but 6 laptops of same model we purchased for office use and those all have got the same problem - hinges issue ... its seems its a manufacturing defect. we reported the issue with HP ... no use HP service in India could not resolve it yet ... al the complaints are pending unattended since more than two months ... please tell me how to believe HP .... its pathetic....

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the hinge assembly and in order to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I'm having a similar problem...I can't even get an answer on if I need to may a payment in order to ask how to get service.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding Holidays & Weekends).
Response times may vary by region.
