Hello,
reading the product details of my notebook it seems that it support 2x8GB of RAM (at the moment I have 8GB totally).
I would like to get confirmation about this and to find out if the RAM is removable to be changed independently.
If yes, which model is better to buy? I would like to buy 2x8GB.
Thank you!

You're very welcome.
Since I don't work for or represent HP, I don't know how they come up with the memory upgrade info.
On these newer model notebooks, many times the max memory specs are way too low.
My guess is, they only test memory up to a certain limit.
Chapter 5 of the service manual I posted has the procedures to open up the notebook and replace the memory.
Also, I have provided the link to the complete service teardown video, which should help as well.

Hi:
Yes, the product specs for that model indicate that it will support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
You will want two of these if your notebook currently has 2 x 4 GB of memory.
Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com
Your notebook can probably support more than 16 GB of memory if you are interested.
You can do this to see how much memory your notebook can actually support.
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
This would be the compatible 16 GB memory chip for your notebook:

Thank you so much for your answer.
Using cmd I found 67108864, it seems that I can go up to 64 GB. So in case I'll buy 2x16GB at least.
But why they put in the specs as maximum memory supported only 16GB?
I hope it's not too complicated to disassemble them.
