Hi there,
It appears that the power button of my laptop is broken.
I've read the service manual to try and find the replacement part number but it doesn't specify any.
What's the best course of action considering HP doesn't want to help me out? (I've already spent quite some time on the phone about this...)
Should I take a soldering iron to the button or should I try and find a replacement button?
The product number is: 2PM97EA
The service manual I've looked at is: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05527167
Which I found on this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-15-bp100-x360-convertible-pc/16851044/model/18527639/ma...
Thanks in advance!
