Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop -15t-ed000 CTO

I have a (somewhat) old HP ENVY x360 Convertible 2-in-1 with the Model # 15t-ed000. Recently, the charger has been getting really hot while the computer has been under load, and I am looking to potentially replace it. I noticed the computer has a USB C port on the left side, and I know certain USB C standards allow for charging the device they belong to, but I do not know if this is one of those ports. Can my my model of laptop be charged over it's USB C port even though it has a DC barrel port for an AC adapter?
