Almost a month after my 3-year-old carepack has expired, one of the hinges broke off.
You can find many comments about this damage on the Internet.
Thanks to a YouTube video by @pcreborn9192 I was able to repair the damage myself.
I am writing to you because I really believe that it is either a design defect or a material defect.
As you can see in the pictures, the nut behind the display didn't just break out of the plastic frame, but the plastic itself broke out. I have now glued both hinges flat using 2-component adhesive and I am confident that this will last for a long time.

Maybe support will answer and HP will be accommodating my effort.
