I've seen other posts documenting this problem with HP laptops, but I can't find any solutions. My laptop is almost 3 years old and out of warranty. The LCD touchscreen works perfectly fine; however, with the screen popped out, I can't open/close the laptop safely. If anyone can explain what is going on and what needs fixing, that would be greatly appreciated.
