Microsoft Windows 11

RAM Manufacturarers (e.g Crucial) state 64GB as maximum while the manual states 16GB for this notebook: 15-es0104nw. Which one is true and what might be the reason for this difference?

Kingston Memory  guarantees that 32GB of their memory  will be compatible

Crucial guarantees compatibility with 64GB of their memory modules

Both are guarantees of compatibility with the company reputation at stake. If they do not work you have recourse.

Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and chipsets are know to accept higher capacity of installed memory that a laptop manufacture states. If you read through some solved threads on Intel laptop memory upgrades, you will see there have been many success stories.

Thank you very much for the prompt response!

I belive I will go for "32GB Crucial" and confirm back, if this works for me.

Not sure if the Kingston link you referenced is regarding my laptop? Seems to be a slightly different model name.
