Here are a few steps you can take to improve the battery life of your HP ENVY x360 14 Inch 2-In-1 Laptop:

1. Check for Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows OS and all drivers (especially the battery driver) are up to date.
  • Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

2. Adjust Power and Sleep Settings:

  • Open Settings > System > Power & sleep.
  • Under Screen, select a shorter time for turning off the screen when the device is on battery power.
  • Under Sleep, select a shorter time for the laptop to go to sleep when on battery power.

3. Use Power Saver Mode:

  • Click the battery icon on the taskbar.
  • Drag the slider to Battery Saver.

4. Battery Usage by Apps:

  • Open Settings > System > Battery.
  • Click See which apps are affecting your battery life.
  • Review the list and consider closing or uninstalling apps that use a lot of battery.

5. Background Apps:

  • Open Settings > Privacy > Background apps.
  • Turn off the toggle switch for apps you don't need running in the background.

6. Brightness Settings:

  • Lower your screen brightness.
  • Use the Brightness slider in the Action Center (Windows key + A).

7. Turn Off WiFi/Bluetooth When Not in Use:

  • Turn off WiFi and Bluetooth if you are not using them.

8. Unplug External Devices:

  • Disconnect peripherals (like external hard drives) when not in use.

9. Run Power Troubleshooter:

  • Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Run the Power troubleshooter.

10. Check for Battery Health:

  • Open a Command Prompt as an administrator.
  • Type powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter.
  • Locate and open the battery report to see the battery's health status and usage.
