HP ENVY x360 m6 Convertible 103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the following computer (HP ENVY x360 - m6-w103dx (ENERGY STAR), Serial number: [edit] , Product number: M1V66UA, Windows 10, 64 bit). The warranty has expired on this computer and I have two questions:

1) RAM Upgrade (8GB to 16GB)

a) The task manager shows that I have a total of one RAM slot, would that mean replacing the 8GB RAM with one 16GB RAM or does it has two ports and I can add another 8GB RAM?

b) Will the motherboard support the update?

c) If yes, what is the specification of the RAM I need to order?

2) HDD Failure Messages: I have been getting HDD failure imminent messages. Yesterday, I had to reset the computer to factory settings.

a) Do I need to replace the HDD? If yes, what is the specification for the HDD I need to buy?

b) Do I have to go with the HDD? Can I instead update it with SSD? If yes, what is the specification for the SSD I need to buy (looking at 256 & 512 GB options).

3) Not as important as the earlier messages, but can I update my graphics card. I have the Intel HD Graphics 520 (1920x1080, Refresh Rate: 59).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Asif
