HP Elite Folio
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

greetings!

does anyone here know if the Snapdragon 8cx processor can be upgraded with another Intel one?

the incompatibility with 99,99999999% of apps Windows-related is driving me nuts!

thank you for your time!

No. It can't.

The Snapdragon 8cx processor platform  has a specific QualComm chipset.

Notebooks like the folio do not have socketed processors and you can't mix and match chipsets and processors.

thank you for the reply, Mr. Erico! however, I have seen videos where the entire motherboard gets switched in Elite Folio! if by any chance there is another motherboard in the market that does have Intel processor, do you think that it will still not work with the Elite Folio?

I believe that I answered your question as it was written.

Use the HP PartSurfer to find out what will fit. It definitely would take an entire system board. Use your Folio's serial number in the partsurfer.

The problem is that not all of the ports and headers will be in the same position.  Therein lies the risk to your Euros.

What is shown in the PartSurfer should fit.
