Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I need help because my USB C is suddenly not working anymore.
Shut down, unplug all the inserted devices, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then turn on didn‘t solve the Problem.
One of the “USB-Root-Hub 3.0” cannot find a driver update and get installed.

Reinstalled Win10 or Win11 didn’t solve the problem eighter.

The image you provided does not show a missing driver for the USB controller

Can you provide the installed processor information?

I should be able to go to the Intel website and find an updated or at least the latest driver.

The UCM-UCSI ACPI device in  Device Manager is the USB Type-C interface, not the one you have highlighted.

Reinstall the Intel Thunderbolt 3 Secure Connect software. It will install the  controller software  and driver for your USB type-C port.

Had you considered using the HP Support Manager? It will identify updates for drivers and notify you when a driver is not present.

I reinstalled thunderbolt but it didn’t solve the problem. USB C is still not working. I also tried hp support management but there’s no new driver update right now.

I tried to press the off button for 30 sec, but it doesn’t helped either. I have no glue why usb c is suddenly not working anymore. Only the charging works like there’s no problem.

There is the possibility that there is damage to the usb tyoe-c circuit.

But why is charging via USB C still possible?
Also, the tablet does keep making connection sounds from time to time, but doesn’t connect with devices.

"But why is charging via USB C still possible?"

And you did not share that bit of information with me.

That means that electrically the  USB type-C port is fine.

"Also, the tablet does keep making connection sounds from time to time, but doesn’t connect with devices. "

That does not make any sense relative to the subject line of your thread.

I said before „Only the charging works like there’s no problem.“ But it’s only charging - no other devise is working.

it sounds like, but I don’t know.

I think you said that in your head and not out loud or in letters on the page.

You did not say it in the writings in your thread.
