Product: EliteBook 820 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade the video/graphics card of my HP EliteBook 820 G1. I have never replaced any hardware so everything is stock.

What is the best compatible video/graphics card for the HP Elitebook 820 G1?

No you can't. You have to replace the whole System board (only if available). Page 107 of the following manual shows a list of System boards for the whole series

They only have  graphics subsystem with UMA memory we call them Integrated GPU.
