I would like to buy a disk  SSD SAMSUNG 970 EVO NVMe M2 500GB MZ-V7E500BW for my laptop EliteBook 840 G5, but will it be compatible?

I'm not having success putting the SAMSUNG EVO 970 NVMe on my  EliteBook 850 G5. After cloning and installing I get Inaccessible Boot Device error. Did you every try it?

I have this disk already installed. It works perfectly. I did not do cloning, I just connected the cable to the internet and I did HP Sure recovery from the BIOS.
