I have a problem with my laptop, the CPU temperature reaches 100 C in idle mode.
if I set the battery performance to "best" it will overheat regardless of the power source (mains/battery)
I applied new thermal paste and there is no difference in the CPU temperature (when set to maximum performance) up to 100 C, when I set it to minimum it's about 50C
haw can i manualy set fan speed ?
or how can i reduce my laptop heat.

Have you cleaned the dust from the fins on the CPU cooler and the intake and exhaust ports?

It sounds as if you did not quite do the removal and reapplication of thermal grease correctly, because what you described should not be happening. I am not judging. I know it does happen inadvertently.
Every time I have done a new application of Arctic Silver Ceramique2, my laptop and PC temps drop down after a few hours.
What is the brand and type of thermal grease you used and how much did you apply?
Did you completely clean the top of the processor and the contact plate of the cooling plate that makes contact with the processor.
I use 99% Isopropyl alcohol and Kimtech wipes for cleaning off the old paste or any remaining bit of of thermal pad just to make sure.
Did you perhaps use Liquid Metal?
I see that the region of the world that is showing is United states, but you typed in , my guess is the Polish language. If tha is accurate, the ambient temperature should be cool.
