Hello,

 

I've been thinking about buying a second laptop with a new thunderbolt docking station but would like my current one: "HP EliteBook 850 G4" to work with my new docking station so I could switch between the two of them easy with just one USB-C cable.

 

Would this thunderbolt docking station work fine: https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/dell-thunderbolt-dock-wd19tb/apd/210-arik/pc-accessories while connecting two screens with resolutions 4k and 1080p and would charging of the laptop work through usb-c as well?

EDIT:  Found this page: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05509272 in other posts, so guess it won't work at all 😞

850 G4 has no Thunderbolt port.
