Hello, I have a problem with upgrating my SSD M.2 from 128GB to 1TB. I have Elitebook Revolve 810 G2 i just bought new SSD 1TB (Goodram M.2 PX500 Gen.2) - when I put new SSD to the socket and run laptop I have an error "Hard disk 3F0 boot device". Do I need to make some changes in BIOS to make this works? I have newest BIOS version.

P.s: New SSD is working on external case so it is not broken.

@Alzajac,

This is your service manual.

c04055028.pdf (hp.com)

Page17 lists three different sizes of "solid-state drive" with each having an HP part number. Google search for the part numbers reveals that they are all M.2 SATA3 SSDs. So, M.2 PCIe SSDs are not supported, and your new 1 TB GoodRam PX500 is an M.2 PCIe SSD. The manual (page 1) shows your model is equipped with 4th gen Intel Core processors (either i3, i5 or i7), which don't support M.2 PCIe interface. Hopefully you can exchange it with a 1 TB M.2 SATA3 SSD.
