Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a number of Hp Elitebook 840 G5 laptops with trackpad buttons that fail to work at all(have tested in BIOS and Windows). I have replaced the buttons, trackpad and controller with known working ones and still nothing(I have also taken the ones that didnt work in these laptops and moved it to another which had a working set and it worked fine in there, so its an issue with the motherboard rather than the trackpad/buttons/controller.
Does anyone know what on the mobo might cause this issue, and is it repairable - all devices are out of warranty so would imagine would need to be sent to HP for repairs, which may make it quite costly!!
