Product: HP Elitebook 845 G8

I'm going to get the Elitebook 845 G8 from a friend but the battery is pretty much dead and I will have to replace it. Does anyone know if any CC03XL battery will fit or are there batteries specifically made for one? Because there's one store that's selling the original Elitebook 840 G8 battery but doesn't say that if it fits the Elitebook 845 G8. Since both seem to have the same battery model I assume it fits but I just want to be sure.

 

Would appreciate any help because I'm new to these things.

This is the HP Part Number for the battery you need:

 

Battery (3 cell, 53 Whr) L78555-005

 

Only buy a battery compatible with that part number. Using the manufacturer designation like CC03XL is not certain to get you the right battery. Maybe yes, maybe no.
