Dear Community,
I need help with my Notebook, after send my problem to HP support, they don't want me to help,
even if i going to buy the needed replacement parts, which I need to find out.
My Elitebook had a burning smell, and it won´t not start.
I disconnected the power cord and the battery, pushed the power button for longer and the Elitebook started up after connecting the power again.
The fan starts turning on full speed, no beep or anything else, sometimes the shift led blinks 3 times.
The display stays all the time completely black. The Burning smell intensifies after the fan is working.
I opened the case and try to find the problem and the cause of the smelling by sniffing over it. (I got this tip from my dog)
Fount it seems to be near the fan, and I found little burn marks on the side of the fan.
But nobody can tell me what part it is what is defective and how to replace it.
I hope you can help me if there is an solution, perhaps it is not the burn? and if it is the reason, what part do i need to order for replacement?
(i replaced the RAM but it has notting changed)
The little pictures are the areas with which seems to be burned, the bigger pictures are with more area surround.
Thank you for your help and i´m sorry for my bad english.
