Trying to Find a RAM Stick that works with my Laptop (Product Specifications Above)

As far as I know, I can only put in a 4GB RAM Stick into the Upgrade Slot that is DDR3L-1600 MHZ

from other support articles I was reading the RAM needs to be One-Sided, not Double-Sided I am confused as were to obtain one-sided ram in the speed & capacity that's applicable...

I was wondering if I could get some help on sourcing this type of RAM...

I don't really think it matters.

But if I had to make a choice, I would opt for the Samsung memory.

HP seems to use that memory the most in their notebooks.

Hi:

I wouldn't order it from HP...it costs $184.25.

I would get a used but tested and working chip on eBay, that came out of a Folio 1040 G1.

Make sure you can upgrade because the manual says the memory cannot be upgraded.

Chapter 3, page 18, item 13.

See chapter 5 for the memory upgrade procedure.  It is something I have never seen before.

So just had one other question was looking on eBay at the compatible RAM sticks.

and wondering which brand of RAM stick to go with The Hynix, Samsung, or ADATA brand.

Basically just wondering if there's any difference performance-wise or if one brand lasts longer (Lifetime Wise) or is better than the other.

Since its basically just the same specs for all three RAM sticks...
