Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My ElitePad 1000G2 keeps randomly turning off when powered by battery, when powered by AC adapter it works fine other than a notification flashes up that it is going to shut down due to battery level, but it doesnt. The battery is fully charged and is new, since i originally thought that the battery was faulty. However, I have no problems if i run the machine in safe mode and can run for hour and hours on battery power without problem. I've reinstalled the OS etc but now I feel I'm at my wits end Any help would be appreciated
