I Have HP Enevy x 360 laptop, which broken from right side and right Hinge came out from display.

HP is cheating its customers by selling poor-quality laptops despite knowing that they will break within a year or two. Laptops that are used regularly are breaking even while under warranty, while those that are not used frequently tend to break shortly after the warranty expires.

HP then charges expensive repair fees, claiming that the product is out of warranty. How is it possible that most laptops from the same series break in the same way and at the same spot, particularly the hinges?

Service center staff have mentioned that 99% of laptops they receive are broken at the same place, indicating that this is a universal problem with HP laptops. Instead of selling high-quality products, HP seems to have turned repairs into a business by intentionally selling subpar products and deceiving customers.

Hey @BKG3,

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues you're facing with your HP Envy x360 laptop. It’s definitely unfortunate when a product doesn’t meet expectations,

Unfortunately, there aren't any steps we can perform through this channel. The best course of action would be to visit your nearest HP authorized service center where they can assess the issue and determine the next steps for repair.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your response. I am from India, and I contacted HP's service center, customer care, and technical team. They informed me that since my warranty has expired, my only option is paid service. They quoted nearly ₹27,000 INR just for repairing a non-electrical part, whereas the laptop itself costs ₹67,000. Just imagine how much they would charge for components like the motherboard, touchscreen, or display!

The HP support community is full of complaints regarding hinge issues in the HP Envy x360 laptop, yet HP is not taking any responsibility. It seems like HP has turned this into a business, knowing that the laptop will break in the same place and in the same manner within a year. This clearly indicates a manufacturing defect, which has nothing to do with warranty coverage.

After that, they are charging the full value of the laptop again under the pretext of services, which is extremely unfair.

For those whose laptops broke while under warranty, HP repaired them for free. But those whose laptops broke slightly after the warranty expired were charged, despite the fact that the design itself is flawed and prone to breaking. The breakage depends on usage—those who used their laptops daily experienced issues sooner, while those who used them rarely faced problems after the warranty period.

HP should repair my laptop free o

f cost.
