I currently own a HP Envy 13 Laptop and purchased a HP G5 USB-C Docking station for it. The first question is why only the right USB-C port works to connect the docking station in order to get the display output to monitors work, not the left?
My second question is why the USB-C connection does not charge the laptop while plugged in. below is the S/N and Model of my Laptop and Docking station. I am hoping to not have to always have 2 plugs into my laptop,

This seems to say both USB-C ports should support Power Delivery and carry a DisplayPort signal. What are you using to try to charge the laptop through the USB-C port?
