Hi, does anyone knows if this is considered a hinge problem? I have checked with the HP Support Team and was told that this hinge issue is not covered under the standard one year warranty. Why is that so? I just bought it roughly 10 months ago, and neither have I dropped or cracked it etc but somehow I realised that the panel below is starting to open up.. any advice? Will it be ok if I don't fix this hinge issue?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the hinge.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the screenshots you have shared and it doesn’t look like an issue with the hinges and it looks like the bottom casing is coming off.

You need to contact support and check the available service options for your computer to get the bottom casing replaced.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
