Hi,

I recently bought one of these and was wondering if I could just open it up and put more ram and a larger ssd into it.

Hi,

The RAM is not upgradable as it is integrated on the motherboard (soldered) and there are no slots to insert extra RAM.

You can replace the 256GB M2 SSD with a higher capacity M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. There is no limit to capacity. You can choose yourpreferred brand, The best would be the M2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus, but you can also go with cheaper such as Corsair MP510 or the Crucial P1.

On page 28 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

Hope it helps,
