I´m a reliable customer of HP products.

Owner of a HP Envy 17 (2011) and a HP Envy 13 (2018).

Received today a new HP Envy 14 (2021), but it came without the glossy finish. I mean the glass cover of the screen.

Please see the attached photos.

I confirmed and in the HP official site the screen is glossy. (https://www.hp.com/pt-pt/laptops/envy/envy-14-laptop.html)

I guess this is a manufacturer error, but can you experts confirm?

Hi:

 

When I look at the link you posted, it indicates the screen is anti-reflective (matte finish).

 

Ecrã antirreflexo

 

A melhor vista. Com um ecrã que reduz o reflexo, para ver o seu ecrã em qualquer ambiente de luz. 

 

A glossy screen is not anti-reflective.

 

This link indicates the same info.  The display is not glossy.
