Product: Envy 15"
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The left hinge on my Envy laptop has come loose. This causes the screen to pull away from the outer shell and the hinge to bind, making the laptop difficult to close. I had a local tech take a look, but he said he could not fix. He did find that three screws from inside the laptop lid had come out of the bracket within.

 

After searching through various threads on this site and others, it is clear that the hinge design on the Envy is defective. What can HP do to remedy this issue?
