Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,

I've purchased an envy 16 (Intel i9) last year and was a little bit desappointed regarding performance but didn't have time to dig the matter.

In december I finally could take some time off to play games with it and was appalled by the gaming experience. Although I always used extra vents under the PC, I noticed that the processor was running between 95°C and 100°C on all games, whatever how long I played. Checking the reviews, I realized there was a clear issue since they specified that the processor was around 80°C in game and for a specific game in a specific configuration they showed 160 FPS (with the lower Intel i7 PC) and for the exact same game and config I was experiencing 40 FPS...

Now the aluminum chassis is bumped at the emplacement of the processor, clearly due to overheating.

Since the PC obviously suffered from this overheating issue, I wonder if repair is a good option, unless I got motherboard+processor+GPU+chassis replacement.

Could the PC be repaired without any consequence regarding its lifespan and performance?

Thank you
