Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy 17-1181n In Device manager it has yellow mark by IDT CODEC     as seen below  does it have to be updated ?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W10 IDT audio driver works for that model:

 

IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

 

6.10.6492.0 

 

sp71886.exe

 

Otherwise, try the W7 driver from the support page, because W7 is the only operating system HP supported the notebook for.
