Hi HP Support community. I really need some help.

I have a brand new HP laptop. I got it on January 3rd, 2021. The hinge of this computer is now broken, it did not happen by accident, but happened randomly when I tried to open my Laptop. I have read several articles here from different users mentioning the same has happened to them. I have a global warranty that is still valid and would like to apply. I bought the laptop in India but currently am in Mexico. I reached out to an official service center here and they provided me an email to reach out to in order to get my warranty availed. I wrote them 5 emails and got no response. It makes no sense for me to pay 1/4 the price of my laptop to get it repaired for the damage I did not cause! Please help me avail my warranty and I will be forever grateful to HP!

HI@Kriti11,

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Apologies for all the inconvenience

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the hinge assembly and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
