I have the same issue as dozens here. Spent $1,000 for an HP Envy 360 about 1&1/2 years ago. All has been excellent but now left hinge broke when I went to close the laptop. I called several computer repair places and they say it has to be sent back to the manufacturer. Looking at these comments, that will put me back at least $300 and be without a computer who knows how long. Guess I will no longer be able to close the laptop. HP just lost a customer. This is obviously a defective part or design issue. I will NEVER buy another HP product again!
