Hi,
This seems to be a common problem with this laptop. The left hinge on my HP ENVY 360 has become faulty of it's own accord. The corner of the screen is being forced away from the housing and the pressure has caused discoloration to the screen. I bought the laptop in August of 2020 and so it is outside of warranty. I paid extra for a better screen as that is important for my work. I called HP customer service and they only cited the 1 year warranty. This is extremely disappointing as the screen has broken just outside of a year and it's due to a manufacturing error; I have been very careful to look after this laptop. I thought HP were a top of the line computer company and it feels like I've bought a cheap knockoff. If the fault was mine I wouldn't have a problem paying for the repair, but as it is due to a manufacturing error I would rather take my business to a different company instead of spending more money on a mid-range product, that is not cheap, that hasn't held up after just over a year. If HP don't care about their customers they are, quite frankly, not a company I want to be dealing with.
Edit: The screen is now not staying up and just falls flat.
