Hi. My laptop's right hinge coming apart and I can see the screws and a black small component coming out from the screen. I'm getting too annoyed as it has been just 2 yrs and using the laptop very carefully. The laptop still working and no crack is visible on the screen yet. Pls. help me to fix this issue.

To fix this issue, you will need additional support from our internal teams in HP. For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Thank you HP for sending me the private message to contact the support for offering me paid options and not accepting that this is a common issue in this notebook model.  Its been only 1 and a half years since to own the device - costing around $1000 and the hinge is broken without any incident.

After wasting an hr I've offered the following options:

1. Buy the hinge for $80+ and then pay extra to put it.

2. Pay $400+ to send the notebook and fix it by HP. This is ridiculous.

Can you believe after spending 1000 bucks and just under 2 years it started having issues? Then the paid support for the common problem. I bought and own a few HP products but I would never buy any HP product after this experience. You lose another loyal customer.
